Okay, so it's been awhile. Life has been completely insane on my end, as it often seems to be these days. I apologize if it appears as though I have neglected my duties. For this, I bring offerings of good will. First, I'll start by saying that I am working on a new gallery, because I am fed up with JAlbum and its pain in the rear updating. However, I also do not like Coppermine. We'll see how this goes. Just know, friends, that in a couple weeks, there will be a shiny new gallery (with shiny new (old) pictures). In the meantime, enjoy this little tidbit.
Becky has recently completed work on a project known as The Horror Theater, which is, essentially, three short films from writer / director Hiroshi Katagiri. Based on a Japanese legend, the series was done in the style of classic Japanese horror films and is made of pure awesomeness. You can watch the trailer and films free of charge at the official website. Go, view, enjoy, give this thing some hits. Three hundred and seventy five hits for something this awesome is untoward.
Just a minor update today. Joe's Garage sure has gotten quite a bit of press, hasn't it? I've added three more reviews here. Also a note to our mystery guest who requested some updated wallpapers awhile back, I am working it. Your request did not go unheard. Hopefully I'll be able to have a couple ready soon. It looks like I had time to update before I left after all. Once I got started, I couldn't really stop. I really have missed my sites this past month and a half. Hello, all. Sorry it's taken so long for me to get an update in. I've had a lot going on in the last month and a half with the loss of both grandmothers and a very dear friend and unfortunately, all of my websites had to take a backseat for awhile. They say death comes in threes, so here's hoping I'm done with funeral homes for awhile (after my grandma's funeral today, that is). It's quite exhausting, and makes me feel guilty for not being able to keep the site up to date. I hope you all can understand.
In much happier news, for those of you who didn't know, Becky is currently appearing as Mary in Frank Zappa's Joe's Garage. The play is being presented by the Open Fist Theater Company (more information can be found here). It's going to be running from September 26 through November 22, and I strongly suggest anyone who is able make the trip to see it.
The fine folks from Chris-Marquette.com were able to attend this past week and have posted some wonderful photos to their gallery.
Joe's Garage has been getting a fair amount of press, and I hope to have all of the articles added soon. I'm striving for tomorrow, because I'm fairly certain I won't be up for it tonight. Once this is all over with, though, I'm hoping I can get caught up here and at Michael-Welch.com.
